Uhuru and Raila to Take Maiden Train Trip to Kisumu on Revamped Railway

President Uhuru and ODM leader Raila Odinga are scheduled to launch the revamped Naivasha-Kisumu meter-gauge railway next week. The two will take their maiden train trip from Naivasha to Kisumu, where they will open the new railway terminus upon arrival. The Kisumu railway station is among the many government projects Kenyatta will unveil in his five-day tour of the lakeside city.
