President Uhuru Kenyatta is expected to preside over this year’s Labour Day Celebrations under strict Covid-19 regulations.
Other leaders expected in the event include Labour Cabinet Secretary Simon Chelugui, COTU Secretary General Francis Atwoli, and Federation of Kenya Employers (FKE) Executive Director Jacqueline Mugo among other stakeholders in the sector.
The Labour Day celebrations are held every year on 1st May to recognize Kenyan workers for their commitment towards growing the country’s economy.
