United States of America and China on Monday accused each each other of smearing their reputations over the ‘source’ of coronavirus as Donald Trump referred to the pathogen as the “Chinese Virus.”
America will powerfully support industries, like Airlines and others, that are particularly affected by the Chinese Virus,” the US President Donald Trump tweeted Monday night. American allies refer to the pandemic as the “Chinese coronavirus,” but it is in the tweet that Trump called it so for the first time.
The move has since been slammed by critics as racist and potentially inciting a backlash against the Asian-American community.

Chinese Foreign ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian last week tweeted that in both Mandarin and English, suggested that “patient zero” in the global pandemic must have come from the United States and not the Chinese metropolis of Wuhan.”It might be US army who brought the epidemic to Wuhan. Be transparent! Make public your data! US owe us an explanation,” Zhao tweeted. He is known for his provocative statements on social media.

Mike Pompeo has repeatedly linked China to the pandemic by referring to SARS -CoV2 as the Wuhan virus against advice from health professionals that such kinds of geographical labeling would result to a stigma.
Chinese officials claim that US politicians have frequently slandered China and urged US to immediately correct its wrongful behavior and stop making wrongful accusations against China.
