Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala has presented himself in a Police Station.
This comes after the vibrant Kakamega Senator was summoned by the NCIC for remarks he made over the weekend
According to the police report seen by this writer, Senator Malala has gone to record a statement aftef he’s alleged to have uttered words that went against NCIC set bracket.

SUBJECT:- RECORDING OF STATEMENT BY HON . CLEOPHAS MALALA.
Today 27/12/2021 at 1416 hrs, Hon. Cleophas Malala -senator Kakamega county, presented himself at Mumias complex sports ground where he voluntarily recorded down his statement before SCPCs Kakamega central sub county- Mr. Kabena, Mumias west sub-county -Mr. Mwoni and Mumias SCCIO MR. SEKO. This follows allegations raised against him that yesterday while in Vihiga, County he made a statement and vowed to stop/cause disturbance at Bukhungu stadium on 31.12.2021 where there will be a public rally to champion for the luhya unity. The statement of the senator was recorded by the SCCIO MR. SEKO in which the senator refuted the claims that had been labelled against him. The senator clarified that what he said at Vihiga during the annual Maragoli cultural festival, was a political statement and he never meant that he will use violence to stop the rally or incite his followers to Cause chaos during the political rally at Bukhungu stadium. The senator went further to clarify that, his political competitors were running scare for nothing and just capitalizing on his mere words. He committed himself to maintain peace and cohesion during the campaigns period. However, he said that on 31.12.2021, he will be busy at Mumias complex sports ground where he will be gracing the finals of the ongoing CLEOPHAS MALALA SUPER TOURNAMENT and he won’t have time to be in Kakamega to cause chaos.
