Kenyan Premier League side Wazito FC’s coach Stewart Hall is now claiming that everybody in the circles of Kenyan football hates Wazito because the club is rich.
Wazito bounced back to the Kenyan Premier League last year with great fanfare after winning the 2018/2019 National Super League title but struggled to in the first leg of KPL hiring and firing many coaches.

The club stands 13th in the log and enjoying a small unbeaten run of four matches will face titles chasers Ulinzi Stars in Machakos this afternoon.
“I’ve not set a target for these players, but we want to win as many league matches as possible and have a good run in the Cup competition,” Hall said.
“Wazito is over criticized; some of it they deserve but some of it is jealousy because they have a lot of money and most in Kenyan football are broke” he added.
He advised his players to create what he calls ‘a siege mentality’ to deal with anybody who hated them and the club including the media, Kenyans and match officials. The idea turned positive as it works for them, they go out only to prove themselves.
“I personally never read media and I don’t do social media…Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. You’ve to know yourself where you want to go and how to get there, don’t let anybody sway you or confuse you” he narrates how he tells his players.
Confidence and strong belief in self is the way to worry less of what others would be saying, an English mentality that Hall believes is combating his enemies and the jealous ones pretty well.
