The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) staff at the Customs department are an unhappy lot. Their boss Susan Wanjohi is a demon.
The lady who hails from Kiambu and boasts of ties to the Kenyatta-clan is said to have pushed a staffer Martin Makundi to his death by suicide.
Staff members who spoke to kenyanbulletin.com revealed that Martin Makundi has committed suicide because of a toxic work environment.
“Please help to bring to light the oppression & torture KRA officers are subjected today. The recent suicide of an officer – Martin Makundi attached to the cargo unit in customs is case in point. The late Martin was being frustrated and recommended for dismissal by his boss, Susan Wanjohi aka the Witch. Susan enjoys close protection, and she is considered one of the untouchables at KRA. Susan frustrated Martin every day and recently before his death transferred him four times in one month. Susan is so powerful that all staff refer to her as Madam Commissioner. She boasts of connections to the President even claiming to come from Kiambu, Uhuru’ s home area”, they wrote.
Terrible person, and a non-perfomer
Susan Wanjohi who bullied Mr Makundi to his early demise is said to be a non-performer who enjoys ‘untouchable’ status.
“Wherever she goes, she leaves a trail of mess everywhere she has worked from Nairobi ICD, the collapse of the Integrated Customs Management System (ICMS), poor collection of revenue as head of Revenue and now mismanagement of the Cargo unit in Customs leading to the death of Martin Makundi”.
The other staff members in the unit blame Susan for the death of Makundi. They even say when she was confronted by some courageous members about it she had a very wicked answer. Many staff members who work under her are very afraid of her.
When confronted with the news of the death of Martin, she told the staff they can all commit suicide for all she cares. Officers are now living in fear of this woman. Please expose this Injustice. We cant BREATHE under Susan” -They concluded.
