What to watch: Without Remorse – KBC

Michael B Jordan stars in this Amazon Prime thriller based on Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan series “Without Remorse.”

The movie premiered on Friday (30th April) and is among many Tom Clancy adaptations over the past thirty years. Jordan becomes the third actor to take on the role of John Kelly/Clark following Willem Dafoe in Clear and Present Danger (1994), and Liev Schreiber in The Sum of All Fears (2002).

In this adaptation, the character John is seeking justice for the murder of his pregnant wife and uncovers a covert plot that threatens to engulf the United States and Russia in an all-out war.

This isn’t the first Clancy adaptation to land at Amazon. The streamer has in its repertoire the Jack Ryan series which currently has two seasons and stars John Krasinski. Without Remorse, however, is a casualty of COVID, much like Tenet and Wonder Woman 1984, which was meant to premiere in theatres but was offloaded to Amazon by Paramount.

The movie is currently streaming on Amazon Prime.
