Three detectives attached at the Kayole station and a Cameroon national were arrested by detectives from pangani station for allegedly robbing two victims of USD 60,000 at barqwo lodge, 8th street, second avenue in Eastleigh.
Two other suspects Police Constable Mwaniki and the gang’s informer escaped. The arrested Cpl Wilson Cheruiyot and PC Daniel Korir, Alex Kandie and Jean Baptist Esome were found with USD 35200.
Three pistols and 45 round of ammunition were also recovered. The such for the two fugitives in possession of the test of the money is ongoing.
