President Uhuru Kenyatta is scheduled to travel to France later in the month for the 2020 Africa-France conference.
The scheduled meeting comes just after the inaugural UK-Africa Investment summit on Monday.
There are also plans to hold another Franco –Africa summit in South Africa in June.
The president of France, Mr. Emmanuel Macron has invited 54 head states and governments from Africa for the January 31 meeting.
The French and British summits follow same trips by African leaders to Russia, China and Japan.
The Russian summit in Sochi last year was attended by 43 heads of government while 16 travelled to Britain.
State House Spokesperson Kanze Dena however claimed she has not been briefed on the trip to France.
