Wuhan’s death toll from coronavirus was 50% higher that the Chinese authorities reported, Western media outlets have reported.
It has been established that China revised up the number of people who died from COVID-19 in Wuhan to 3,869 which represented a 50% reduction in the real number.

The report comes after US President Donald Trump accused China of lying about death toll as America launched investigations whether the virus originated from a lab in Wuhan.
General Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff on Tuesday said that US intelligence show that the Covid-19 likely occurred naturally, and not in a lab.
But American TV, Fox News on Wednesday reported the virus originated from a laboratory in Wuhan but was not meant to be a bio-weapon.
