DCI having a great moment at Bishop Luigi Locati children’s home

The Directorate of Criminal Investigations [DCI] took time to reflect on the true meaning and significance of Christ’s sufferings which he underwent for our transgressions.
As Christians across the world commemorate the crucifixion of our saviour Jesus Christ and his death at Calvary. Today, we remember the day Jesus willingly suffered and died by crucifixion as the ultimate sacrifice for our sins.
It is a promise that God fulfils as written by Paul in his letters to the Corinthians. It is followed by Easter, when we celebrate the day Jesus was raised from the dead, marking his victory over sin.
In observing this most important commemoration, detectives from the Serious Crimes Unit and Corporate Comms representing the DCI family, yesterday visited vulnerable children at Bishop Luigi Locati children’s home in Zimmerman, Kasarani sub-county.
They spent the whole afternoon with the little angels and shared a meal together, in a demonstration of love and compassion to the less fortunate. Additionally, the team shared non-food items and a sum of money, meant to assist in meeting the educational needs of the children.
The director DCI George Kinoti, was represented by Mr John Gachomo, who is in charge of the investigations bureau.
He was accompanied by the head of the Serious Crimes unit Mr Obadiah Kuria and staff members from his unit among others.
We are all called upon to be mindful of our neighbours and meet them in their time of need. DCI calls upon all Kenyans to remember those in our midst who need our assistance and endeavour to share with them the little that we have as espoused in the scriptures.
Below are some comments from Kenyans:
Wanja Sam – This is what Jesus Christ meant when he washed his disciples feet. It’s all about serving others. May God’s blessings be upon you all.”
Mercy Sanaipei – “Great message.

Good Friday and Easter to us all who believe the death of Jesus christ justified us and gave us freedom we were captives,we were hopeless to save ourselves.
The story that never dies.”
Johnson Kuria – “Indeed! I hope all criminals imagined or real in spirit of compassion will not get gunned down over this Easter holidays. Police relax your trigger happy fingers.”
