Peter Maina Munyiri, the man who swindled Family Bank through the National Youth Service (NYS) scam is also pouring money on Public Relations campaign because he wants to be Nyeri County Governor but doesn’t have the balls to face real-criticism, something needed for anyone that wants to join politics.
Munyiri was fired and whisked out of the family bank by security guards after the bank almost collapsed due to panic withdrawals over CBK’s intention to investigate the lender.
In Kenya, there is freedom of the press, and such matters cannot be handled with guns, threats and intimidations.
It will be the biggest Irony for DCI and DPP to go after Munyiri’s critics asking for accountability before holding the NYS criminals to account, many years after the scandal came to light.
It is a wild goose chase, an exercise in futility for a policiain to try to hide their rot from the public. The public, especially the people of Nyeri deserve to know what they are getting themselves into.
Kenyans need to know the person they are paying. It is taxpayers right to know about their politicians.

Peter Munyiri has been heard bragging that he has the resources to harass, intimidate, bully and silence critics because he fears they may expose more about him.
