Residents of Lessos, Nandi County are currently protesting over alleged killing of a man by police officers.
According to information sent to Kenyanbulletin.com, a heated argument ensued when one resident was arrested for not having a facemask.
The man who was killed, identified as Lazarus Tirop, resolved to rescue the arrested man by trying to negotiate with the killer cop to release the man.
The situation, however, took a drastic turn when the police officer fired three gunshots killing the man instantly.
The police officer who immediately fled the scene was identified as Onyango.
Tirop was a physically challenged cobbler working at Lessos Center.
