Embattled Nairobi County Governor Mike Sonko (pictured) has been arrested.
Sonko is also facing an impeachment motion to remove him from office.
At the time of his arrest, Sonko was having a meeting with MCAs at office park.
Three MCAs affiliated to him, Ann Thumbi, Silvia Museiya and Millicent Jagero were last weeks summoned by the Jubilee Party for disregarding party positions.
He has had a scuffle over the budget with the Nairobi Metropolitan Service (NMS).
Police threw teargas, briefly detained and released the Governor.
