An accountant from the Kericho Law Courts has been arrested by detectives from Parklands Police Station in connection with car thefts. Mr Allan Andayi Osele is accused of stealing a Toyota landcruiser V8 KBU 933N and KBQ 260Z, that were reported stolen from Nippon Korea Investment LTD yard in Nyali, Mombasa in 2014.
Earlier investigations revealed that the two vehicles were among the five that were stolen from Nyali and their chassis numbered altered. More investigations from NTSA also uncovered that their real registration numbers were KBW 122H and KBQ 805T.
The vehicles were recovered from the suspect’s Syokimau home in November 2018 and detained at Parklands Police Station to as further enquiries were launched.
