Controversial lawyer Miguna Miguna has revoked the oath for the People’s President that he administered on ODM Party leader Raila Odinga on 30th January 2018.

“By powers vested on me as the Commissioner of Oaths who administered the Oath of Office of The People’s President on Raila Amolo Odinga, I, Miguna Miguna, hereby REVOKE that Oath and declare Raila Odinga to be an ordinary citizen. Dated at the City of Toronto, this June 16, 2020”, Miguna wrote on his social media pages on Wednesday.

But Miguna Miguna might be late with his cancellation because, in an interview on NTV on 26th January 2020, the ODM leader told NTV Journalist Joseph Warungu that he ‘denounced the oath I took at Uhuru park when I shook hands with President Uhuru‘.

Uhuru can revoke Maraga’s

Responding to a different question following his revocation of Raila’s oath, Miguna Miguna stated that embattled Chief Justice David K. Maraga can also do it.

A Twitter user  had asked Miguna,

‘What if Maraga did the same, what would that effectively mean?’

Miguna Responded,

“If David Maraga revokes the oath he administered on both despot Uhuru Kenyatta and William S. Ruto, Kenya would have no illegitimate persons occupying the pinnacle of executive power. Parliament would be dissolved. And proper elections would be held which Uhuru can’t vie in:.
