In an attempt to piece up the evidence in the mysterious disappearance and subsequent murder of the Kitengela friends, Sleuths from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) have stumbled upon a fresh and new lead.

Reports
indicate that the detectives are currently in pursuant of a man a lady believed
to be his girlfriend, whom they are convinced could have revealed the
identities of the four before they went missing.

Further information also shows that a rogue police officer was involved in the abduction and the killing of the four friends after a meal together.

The rogue officer is said to have aided the quartet in a number of criminal activities they have been carrying out around the country as part of a bigger gang.

Police reports subsequently indicate that Brian Oduor alias champe alongside Benjamin Imbai had pending cases before Mavoko and Kibera Law Courts.

The four are believed to have
been masterminds of the criminal gang terrorizing the innocent while
clashing with the law enforcers on
multiple occasions.

The bodies of the two out of four friends have already been found and
positively identified by their kin and the other two still missing.

The body Obuong was found by sand harvesters near Mukungai River along the
Murang’a-Iyego-Kangema road, and taken to a morgue in Murang’a.

His friend Benjamin Imbai alias Benja was found in Thika at the general
Kago funeral home.
