Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua is trending on the interwebs after he officially opened the Machakos County offices which unless you’re told, would mistake for the Statehouse, the resemblance is uncanny and there is no doubt the people paid top dollar for the construction of the massive building.
Locals have questioned the priorities of the now dubbed “aesthetic governor”. “Governor Mutual, you need to set priorities right. What a shame to construct such a big luxurious office for yourself in the wake of poverty and stagnant economy in Machakos county.” A Twitter user posed.
The county lacks youth employment, there is no water and stable electricity and hit by the coronavirus pandemic, many are questioning the priorities of the governor.
