The Former Prime Minister and the ODM party leader Raila Odinga finally declared his wish in the upcoming presidential election, giving hope to his supporters ahead of the next general election.
Speaking on one of the Radio stations in Kisumu City, the Opposition Chief disclosed that the region will not come out empty-handed in the next general election scheduled for next year empty-handed as it has been before.
The former Prime Minister went ahead and promised his supporters that, something nice is going to come out of 2022 election plans advising them to stop worrying.
Raila further called upon his supporters to create time and register as voters masses claiming that one of the things that have been failing him is insufficient votes due to low turnout during the registration process in the region
Raila urged his supporters to go out there and register so that come 2022 he will be a better place to put up a fighting spirit on the ballot.
Raila’s is targeting to succeed president Uhuru Kenyatta when his term comes to end. Even though he has not declared interest in replacing Uhuru publicly, his moves suggest he might take his fifth attempt to the country’s top seat something he has tried for so long.
The Opposition Chief will, however, face off with Deputy President William Ruto, who is also eyeing to succeed his boss President Uhuru Kenyatta and not giving up at all cost.
