Recently Safaricom took center stage at the Made in Africa Leaders Conference (MLC), showcasing its cutting-edge technological advancements.

The event hosted at Safaricom’s Innovation Centre ratified the company’s pivotal role in driving digital transformation across the continent.

Andrew Masila, Head of Innovation at Safaricom, stressed the importance of the Innovation Centre in realizing Safaricom’s ambitious vision.

“Our aim is to lead as a purpose-driven technology company in Africa,” Masila stated, reflecting on Safaricom’s strategic initiatives to foster innovation and propel economic growth across the region.

David Thuku, Conference Facilitator, praised Safaricom’s role in shaping Africa’s digital future.
