Kenya Bulletin can reveal that Sauti Sol will release it’s fifth studio album dubbed Midnight Train, on 22 may going by hints the band dropped Movenpick Hotel.
The album will be the first their first major project under the Universal Music Group imprint they signed with early in the month. It features Burna Boy, Andre Harris, India Arie, Soweto Gospel Choir and Sol Generation artistes.
The band says the title captures their hardwork, late night night show and recording sessions that shaped its creation.
Sauti Sol is a ward winning band that burst into fame in 2009 under producer Wawesh but later went independent and traded like that have for the past 10 years.
In some sort of a meet and greet the people lap, Polycarp, producer and a member of the band said that said this time they needed to include as many people as they could in their projects and Universal Music Group made it possible.
