KEMSA Beneficiaries: The role Dr Amoth played in the creation of the #Covid19Millionaires

Dr Patrick Amoth, Acting Director General for Health a the Ministry of Health and World Health Organisation’s Vice President of the Executive Board

Dr Patrick Amoth comes across as a fine gentleman who is committed to his work.

Despite executing his contract in an acting capacity, the man dazzled the eyes of the World Health Organisation (WHO) and was appointed Executive Board Vice President in May.

We’ve already exposed how the Covid19Millionaires were created at Kenya Medical Supplies Agency (KEMSA) starting with an article on the agency’s board chairman Kembi Gitura.

We’ve also touched on the role Cabinet Secretary in charge of Health Mr Mutahi Kagwe played in the looting that went on at KEMSA.

Dr Amoth’s story begins with one Dr Wanjiku Ndungu who is listed by sources as the front person of Wallabis Ventures Limited.

Dr Wanjiku is a known business partner of Turkana County Governor Josphat Nanok.

She is described as a very well-connected lady; that connection earned her ‘firm’ Wallabis Ventures Limited contracts worth Sh7 million, Sh78 million and Sh37.5 million in the KEMSA Emergency Procurement for Covid-19.

KEMSA paid the lady a total of Sh122.5 million.

Sources say when she was first introduced to KEMSA by Dr Patrick Amoth, procurement disqualified her company three times but a call from a senior opposition politician and another from Deputy President William Ruto ensured she sailed through.

She is a front to Dr Patrick Amoth, the real owners of Wallabis Ventures Limited is anyone’s guess. Nonetheless, when Kenyanbulletin.com gets hold of the registrar of companies document, we will post here.

This is the second time DP Ruto’s name makes a mention in the COvid19Millionaires. Most Kenyans dismissed the loud-mouthed Jubilee politician David Murathe as drunk when he said that EACC should also question the DP on the looting at KEMSA.

Ruto

Our research shows that a Ruto is mentioned four times in the KEMSA Emergency Procurement for COvid19 scam.

Rachael Ruto’s company Caresha Healthcare Solutions Limited received a contract worth Sh94.5 million.

A partnership between Ruto and Wambui, under a company called Purma Holdings Limited, bagged tenders worth Sh12.5 million for supply of unspecified items.

Along the road that leads one to Kerio town from Lodwar Town, in the expansive Turkana County, there lies a very beautifully build hotel that rivals some in our game parks.

The Craddle, as it is known is rumored to be owned by the Governor. The other business partner was always a mystery but Kenyanbulletin.com has learnt that it is none-other-than Dr Wanjiku Ndung’u.

It is a business partnership that has given Dr Wanjiku a lot of connections and networks that has now been revealed to have led to the doorstep of the cartel’s cash-cow KEMSA.

Kenyans need to know their real enemies, because as lockdown and curfew were imposed, some people got very rich. As curfew and lockdown and cessation of movement were imposed, some politicians got very rich. As curfew and lockdown were imposed, and some Kenyans suffered death at the hands of police for not wearing masks, some politicians and their surrogates stole money meant to buy free sanitizers and masks.

It is just the start of the revelations and it is already clear to see that all these parastatals are surrounded by politicians who mercilessly loot and eat with their girlfriends. In other countries, rich people are those who have invented things and own industries which employ people especially the youth, but in Kenya it is the opposite. Politicians are the ones who are rich in Kenya because they easily loot from the public and go scott-free.

Tomorrow, the exposé on the COVID19Millionaires that the media has not touched continues, some names: Senator Sakaja, Gideon Moi and Senate Speaker Ken Lusaka.
