Nakuru Senator Susan Kihika has threatened to leak nude photos from Statehouse powerful men who had been flooding her WhatsApp inbox.
“I still have the photos with me, I can release them anytime. ALL i want is my seat back or else things will get messy. I’m ready to die for this” Kihika ranted.
According to the Tanga Tanga allied Senator, she was removed from her seat by alleged horny Statehouse operatives that have been demanding to have a share in the content between her legs.
“I have had several marriage proposals from Statehouse but i keep turning them down, they’re so disappointed by now and that is the reason they decided to kick me out.
The moment i declined there proposals, i knew i was on the pan. So i was prepared for anything.
I have declined and blocked their calls but they keep calling with different numbers even when i am home with my family. I’ve declined several dates in some superb hotels, “she said.
In 2018, Nakuru Senator Susan Kihika launched divorce proceedings against live-in husband Kiongozi Sam Mburu due to what friends say is his unending party lifestyle and a string of girlfriends.
The marital crisis erupted in early July when Mburu was being hunted down by DCI officers to record a statement on illicit sugar imports. A wheeler-dealer who trades out of the Port of Mombasa under the name of Landmark Logistics, and whom the DP has variously used to import and dump large quantities of illicit sugar into the local market.
The closure of his businesses and bank accounts reportedly drove Mburu into the depression where he turned to heavy drinking leading to marital problems with Senator Kihika.
Mburu’s adulterous lifestyle coupled with heavy drinking are now common knowledge in Nakuru’s vibrant nightlife and has reportedly left Senator Kihika ‘mentally and physically broken and on the verge of an anxiety breakdown’.
On date 11th this month, Nakuru Senator Susan Kihika wrote to the Senate Speaker Ken Lusaka protesting her removal as the Senate Majority Whip by a Jubilee Senate Parliamentary Group meeting that was chaired by President Uhuru Kenyatta on Monday.
The meeting which took place at State House and included Kanu Senators resolved to replace her with her deputy Irungu Kang’ata, who is the Murang’a senator.
Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen was also kicked out of the Senate Majority Leader position and replaced with West Pokot Senator Samuel Poghisio.
Kihika says sin the letter that Jubilee senators were not notified of the meeting and therefore any decisions made were against Standing orders and unlawful.
“As Jubilee Senators, we did not receive any formal invitation for any meeting with an agenda to discuss the removal of Senate Majority Leader and Senate Majority Whip… We held consultative meetings and would like to inform the Speaker that the requirements of Standing Order 19 that make it mandatory for more than half of Senators to remove a Majority Leader or Majority Whip were not met,” she notes in the letter.
“The purported Coalition Agreement was not sanctioned by the relevant party organ that is the National Executive Committee as required under article 32.2 of the Constitution of the party,” she states.
She, therefore, in the letter that was copied to the Clerk of the Senate and 22 Senators, wants the decision to remove them to be reversed on grounds that it failed to meet the legal bar.
“We, therefore, hold that the leadership of the Majority Party in the Senate remains as it has been until the requirements of the Constitution of Kenya, Standing Orders and Jubilee Party Constitution are all adhered to. All communication on the removal of leaders as provided by Standing Order 19 can only be written by Majority Leader and Majority Whip.”
Yesterday, the Judiciary confirmed that a section of a highly publicized ruling issued by the Political Parties Disputes Tribunal (PPDT) was forged.
The Judiciary posted a copy of the original ruling following claims of forgery raised by lawyer Victor Lee who is representing Jubilee Secretary General Raphael Tuju.
The ruling containing the forged parts was first shared by former State House operative Dennis Itumbi and contained a stamp indicating that it had been served to the Senate.
The original ruling in order number 2, temporarily halted the decision by the Registrar of Political Parties to recognize the coalition agreement deposited on May 4.
“That pending the hearing and determination inter parties this honourable tribunal is pleased to issue an interim order staying the decision of the 1st respondent in her letter dated 8th May 2020, recognizing a coalition agreement purportedly signed between the 1st and 2nd interested parties and deposited on 4th May 2020,” the original ruling read in part.
