Ndii: DP Ruto Should Quit Politics

Economist David Ndii, one of Kenya’s leading political economy thinkers, a popular columnist and a longtime critic of the government’s policies has been keen on advising Deputy President William Ruto who appears to have been cornered by Uhuru in the running of the Jubilee Party affairs.

Recently advising the DP who seems to be surviving on borrowed time in government to “Murder his boss” sensationally hinting at the possibility of Dp Ruto getting rid of President Uhuru Kenyatta, now the public intellectual has advised Ruto to quit politics.

On his Twitter account on Tuesday morning, Ndii asked Tanga Tanga members who are DP Ruto’s allies to “Confess, seek forgiveness, and atone by returning what they have stolen”.

“If they commit to doing so, we must promise them amnesty on condition they refrain public office,” Ndii stated while vowing to stand by Ruto should he quit politics by “joining forces to drive the dynasties out.”

Ndii is a wanted man by the state after these anti-government remarks. The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has now opened a fresh court battle against the economist over unpaid taxes.
