Photos: Embrace Kenya Team Campaigns For Imran in Kibra

The pro-handshake Embrace Team led by Homabay County Women Rep Gladys Wanga has hit the campaign trail in support of Kibra Member of National Assembly (MP) candidate Imran Okoth.

Imran is the brother to the late exemplary MP Ken Okoth who died of cancer in July this year.The women toured many parts of Kibra selling one agenda, ‘elect Imran, Kazi iendelee’.

Other candidates

Imran Okoth faces other formidable candidates. He will be battling it out with Jubilee Candidate MacDonald Mariga and ANC’s Eliud Owalo.

The electoral body IEBC recently competed the voter register for Kibra, stating the total number of voters to be 118,658 and also expanded the polling stations from 180 to 183.

There have been allegations of vote-buying during the campaign period.

The by-elections will be held on 7th November, 2019.

The presiding officer will be Beatrice Muli.
